Biden and the exploitation of Chinese labor

The Biden administration is driven by a fanatical ideology borrowed from small groups of left believers . It is supported by two powerful lobbies: the military-industrial complex on the one hand and the transnationals producing in China on the other. Thierry Meyssan presents this little-known lobby.
The Biden administration will not adopt a definitive strategy against its Chinese rival until June. An ad hoc Pentagon committee will then have to present proposals to the White House.
Under the authority of President Xi Jinping, China has started its deployment beyond its borders. It has already placed 3,000 soldiers in the United Nations Forces, then opened a base in Djibouti. Logically, it should, as at the time of the historic Silk Road, install military posts along the roads it is building to secure its international trade. Last but not least, she settles back on the islets that she had abandoned in the 19th century in the China Sea.
China first intends to recover its living space from which it was despoiled by Western settlers. She is sure of her rights and considers that all the blows are allowed her to take her revenge.
However, in accordance with the strategy outlined in 1999 by General Qiao Liang and Colonel Wang Xiangsui [ 1 ], China intends to avoid any direct military confrontation with the United States. She prefers to bypass her opponent and has engaged in undeclared wars on the commercial, economic, financial, psychological, media etc.
Chinese irredentism presupposes putting out the Westerners who have occupied the Far East for a century and a half. It must be distinguished from the Chinese development strategy which has succeeded in a few years in lifting hundreds of millions of its citizens out of poverty.
New China's economic strategy began in 1978 under the leadership of Deng Xiaoping, but it did not really bear fruit until 1994. By this time the Soviet Union had disappeared; the US army had been largely demobilized; President Bush Sr. said the time to make money had come and his successor, President Clinton, had been approached by large companies to open up the Chinese labor market. Indeed, a Chinese worker, admittedly without training, cost about 20 times less than a US worker.
President Clinton will therefore decouple negotiations on Human Rights (in the Anglo-Saxon sense) from trade issues. Then, he will bring China into the World Trade Organization (WTO). In a few years, large companies will transfer their production plants to the Chinese coast for the benefit of consumers and to the detriment of US workers.
Two decades later, the Americans are consuming Chinese products on a massive scale, while their large corporations, which have become transnational, have seen their profits increase exponentially. But simultaneously, US consumer goods factories have been relocated or shut down as unemployment has spread. The distribution of wealth has been changed so that now there is almost no middle class, but above all poor and a few ultra-billionaires.
This phenomenon begins to affect Europe when US voters choose Donald Trump as President. This first tries to resolve amicably the issue of the balance of payments with China ( Border-adjustment tax ), but is prevented by the Democrats and part of the Republicans. Unable to push through a relative closure of the borders, he embarks on a tariff war in which Congress has no say.
In 2021, President Biden officially succeeds him. It is supported by transnational corporations which derive their immense fortune from economic globalization. Immediately, he said he wanted to normalize US-China relations. He calls President Xi Jinping to talk to him about the situation of Uyghurs and Hong Kong, but he immediately admits that Tibet and Taiwan are Chinese, which his predecessor partially contested. Importantly, at a press conference, he said that each country has its “own standards” and that the political positions of China and the United States each have their own logic. So he was able to say, once in the White House, that he "understood" the Chinese repression of Uyghur terrorism,
In the next four years, the Biden administration should therefore continue the work of Presidents Clinton, Bush Jr. and Obama, to the benefit of the multi-billionaires and to the detriment of his people. It will rely on a ruling class deriving personal benefits from this system.
In order to understand this device, we recap the eight main personalities supporting the US-China trade alliance. First at the political level: one of the main Democratic icons and the leader of the Republicans in the Senate; then economically, the two most important distributors of consumer goods; finally at the government level, the decision-makers of the Biden administration.
It should also be remembered that during the election campaign, everything was done to prevent voters from learning about the New York Post investigation into President Biden's son, Hunter. He notably stole $ 1 billion in Ukraine with the help of CEFC China Energy, a now dissolved company.
Chinese position
The election of President Biden is a boon for China, which has not yet emerged from underdevelopment. She hopes to play with the taste of the easy money of the ultra-billionaires in the United States to build new factories, at their own expense, inside the country.
She knows it will only have a short time. In fact, as it develops, its workers are better and better trained and cost more and more. Already those who live on the coast of the China Sea are on a par with the American workers. They can therefore no longer work for the foreign market and turn to the now solvent domestic market.
China is therefore already protecting the developed part of the country from possible relocations. It forces all Western companies to act through joint ventures half owned by Chinese nationals. In addition, it established the presence of a Party representative on each board of directors of these companies, so that they never carry out anti-national strategies.
Ultimately, it is preparing to thank foreign investors and flood their own market. But on his own this time.
