President Biden's National Security Strategy

The Biden Administration is full of goodwill, but ignorant of the world as it is. Under the authority of a senile president, she proposes to restore democracy in the world, without being aware that the social classes which made this political regime are in the process of disappearing. She hopes to re-establish the American Empire, feared by a majority of peoples, with the conviction of being of service to them. Finally, she intends to continue the "endless war", but without sacrificing the lives of US soldiers. But this she does not know how to explain.
Each administration defines the national security policy of the United States after consultation with the heads of the armed forces and its own specialists. This process is necessarily long — one to two years—. Also the Biden administration, which intends to break without delay with the anti-imperialist “mistakes” of Donald Trump, has now made public the new principles of national security of the United States, even if it means specifying them later. [ 1 ].
The central idea is to revitalize democracy as a system of government, so as to be able to mobilize the allies and maintain the current organization of international relations. This strategy is in line with what Joe Biden announced in Foreign Affairs a year ago during his election campaign [ 2 ].
The guidelines he has just published are extremely clear, but do not answer the questions he will have to face. Admittedly, the president listed a number of working themes (the pandemic, the climate crisis, nuclear proliferation, the fourth industrial revolution), but he did not set out the new problems that have arisen (the decline in production US, the financialization of the economy, the decline in the US technical level, the vertiginous inequality of wealth).
1- Democracy
Democracy is the participation of as many people as possible in political decision-making. President Biden seems realistic about the ambitions of his fellow citizens, so he instead speaks of the informed consent of his fellow citizens. He thus adopted the terminology of Walter Lippman, the famous Democratic journalist trained in propaganda by Colonel Edward House [ 3 ].
When describing democracy, President Biden seems to write a classic essay that places great emphasis on the separation of powers and the morals of citizens [ 4]. However, contrary to what he thinks, the disaffection of the West for this type of political regime does not come from the disinformation which would be attributable to "enemies of America" (that is to say to Russia and to China), but from the sociological transformation of their societies. While they were massively constituted around the middle classes, they are disappearing while multi-billionaires have risen above governments. Never had such a capture of wealth been observed since medieval times. The problem is therefore not to restore the functioning of democracies, but to know if and how they can still function.
For example, the Internet giants have no legitimacy to arrogate to themselves the power of censorship. During the compromise of 1791, the United States relied on complete freedom of [removed]1st Amendment), however Google, Facebook and Twitter censored, in early 2021, the current President of the United States. , thus violating not the letter, but the spirit of the Constitution. Is democracy still imaginable in this context?
2- Puritan imperialism
President Biden is nourished by a Puritan imperialist culture. He is convinced not only that democracy is the best political regime for his country, but that it is also for everyone else. Aware of the value of example, he hopes to convert all nations to this system by revitalizing it at home. Continuing his reasoning, his mission is to fight all over the world against systemic racism in order to make “democracy, equality and diversity” triumph.
It does not matter that some people do not seek to participate in political decisions or that they believe that humanity is made up of only one race, President Biden knows for them what is good for them.
On this point, his administration thinks like the neoconservatives. Like them, she is ready to impose democracy on the rest of the world, believing in this way to deliver it. We have often emphasized that the neoconservatives are neither Democrats nor Republicans, but always on the side of Power.
3- The "endless war"
The main question that arises about the Biden administration is whether it will resume and continue the "never-ending war" of Presidents Bush and Obama. Let us remember that this strategy, set out by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and his advisor Admiral Arthur Cebrowski, aims to destroy all state structures in a region of the world so that the capitalists can exploit it without encountering political resistance. . It is applied to the “wider Middle East” where the states of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon have already been considerably weakened, even destroyed.
The "endless war" was officially declared by President Bush, not against individuals or states, but against "terror", which exists everywhere and in all times.
President Biden's response to this question is mixed. He assimilated that his people no longer want to see their soldiers die in conflicts that they do not understand. He therefore declares himself ready to withdraw his troops from Afghanistan, the only country concerned where they are heavily present. However, the expression “endless war”, if it was evoked by President George Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney just after the attacks of September 11, 2001, only became essential with the war in Iraq, which President Joe Biden does not seem to be conscious today. He is, as we know and we have verified it many times, suffering from early senility. However, it was he, when he was a senator, who proposed to partition this country into three in accordance with the Rusmfeld / Cebrowski plan. In other words, President Biden is unaware of recent world developments. He is not ready to abandon the strategy of "endless war", just to adapt it to certain theaters of operation so that it does not cost American lives. And can resume and continue, without US troops on the ground, but still with weapons, funding and advice from the Pentagon.
